Consultancy

The best IT advice is sometimes: do not do it yet.

An IT investment should not only work, it should also pay off. We prepare the change, guide it until it lands with your team and plan the next step at a pace you set.

What consultancy means

The migration is complete and technically everything is right. But three months later, part of the team still works the old way, files are in the wrong place and questions come in that nobody saw coming. That is rarely down to the technology. What was missing sat around it: preparation, alignment and follow-up.

That is where consultancy comes in. We make sure an IT investment not only works but also pays off, at a pace you set. From the first advice to the follow-up you stay with the same people, so you do not have to bring anyone else in or tie anything together yourself.

When we recommend it

You can call on it at any time, but these two moments come up most often at SMEs.

For an implementation or larger change

A new solution is rolled out correctly, tailored to your organisation and actually used, with a good experience for you, your staff and your customers.

For managing your entire IT environment

Broader than one project: together we look at which choices are coming up this year, what you had best tackle first and what can safely wait.

Change management is simply included

Carrying out a change is not the same as making it land. That is why in every project we look beyond the technology alone.

Planning
What happens when, tailored to busy periods and to what your team can handle.
Risks
What could go wrong, what the impact is and how we absorb it in advance.
Communication
Who needs to know what, and when, so nobody is caught off guard.
Documentation
What has changed and how it works, so it does not stay in one person's head.
Impact on your staff
Who feels the change, and what that person needs to keep up.
Explanation
The necessary training and answers to questions, at the moment they come up.
Follow-up
After delivery we check whether everything is used as intended, and adjust.

At the table, not just in a report

We discuss the choices with the people who will have to work with them, and translate technology into what it means for your business.

Three forms

How we work together

The forms do not exclude each other. Structural guidance for your environment, with a few larger changes as separate projects, is a perfectly workable combination.

1

Project-based

Around a defined project or implementation, with a concrete goal and an end point. By far the most common form: you know in advance what is included and when it will be done.

2

Fixed term

Guidance during a period agreed in advance, which can go broader than one project.

3

Indefinite term

A structural partnership without a fixed end date, in which we help look after your environment over a longer period.

What it delivers

Less time afterwards, and costs you can plan

Operationally, a well-prepared change costs you less time afterwards. Financially, the biggest gain is often in spreading the costs.

After the change, people quietly keep working the old way, and all the questions end up with you.
The solution fits the way you really work, and whoever is affected knows in advance what will change.
You pay for features and licences that nobody uses as intended.
We check whether you actually use what you pay for, and adjust where that is not the case.

The rhythm of a change

Prepare, carry out, let it land, a moment of rest, and only then the next step. That way your IT environment stays calm while still moving forward.

    Advice

We look at what you need, and what has to happen now and what can wait.

  4. 4

    Change freeze

An agreed quiet period with as few changes as possible.

  5. 5

    Next step

Only when it is needed, and not too close to the previous one.

Questions we get

A change freeze is an agreed period in which no changes, or as few as possible, are made to your IT environment, usually after a larger implementation. It lets your team absorb the previous change, catch its breath and catch up financially. It is not required and does not belong in every project, but it often makes the difference between a change that lands and an organisation that falls behind itself.
